My name is Brooke and I first want to say that if you are researching acro yoga in order to possibly give it a go then you have come to the right place. My very first experience doing acro yoga was with my sister who also happens to be my best friend. We have both had zero experience doing acro yoga however, we had done regular yoga before. Although acro yoga was much more challenging than I had originally expected, pushing myself to do things I was slightly scared of, was invigorating. Learning different acro yoga routines and trusting my whole body in someone else’s hands was an experience I have never had to do. Our first class was such a great experience that we kept coming back for more. Now, it has been 3 months and I have taken acro yoga each week and I continue to improve in every class. It has helped with muscle tone, balance and stamina. For those who are skeptical on trying the class, I want to say TAKE THE PLUNGE! You won’t regret that you tried such an amazing class.
Hi, my name is Glenn. I am a novice to yoga in general and when the opportunity to do acroyoga came up I wasn’t sure if it would work for me. However, I found that acroyoga is a lot of fun and I make a decent base, (the person on the bottom). It’s fun to be able to lift people into the air and it takes a lot more strength than I first realized – which means it’s a great workout and a lot fun. Acro Yoga is a good yoga practice for couples and friends because it involves a lot of trust building. Not to mention, Yayso Yoga’s location makes it easily accessible from all of SWFL ( especially South Fort Myers, and Naples) and having the acroyoga class on Wednesday helps me stay energized all week.
